D3 worked hand in hand with Brad and Carol Scott of WildBranch to build a new, state of the art website, one built to fit their exact needs.
The new platform allowed them to keep their same workflows, while adding new features, and retaining all of the hundreds of previously published articles.
Tents are serious business. And when you've been in the business of renting and setting up tents for over 30 years, you need a website that reflects that commitment to customers. So that's exactly what we did.
Mat Hudson, a freelance illustrator and designer, knew he needed a top-notch website to present his amazing work. By building upon the Flickr photo sharing service, D3 built a custom platform, just for him, which makes website updates a thing of the past!
Like most bands, the fun is the creation of amazing music, not tedious website updates. The American Dollar approached D3 with their problem, and we responded by building them a site that updates itself. Yes, you heard right, their website updates itself, by harnessing the immense power of social networks all over the web.
Setting up an online store with a large inventory is a lot of work. D3 worked hand in hand with CB750 Supply to determine what their exact needs were, and how each step could be as seamless as possible, in order to keep costs down, and be competitive in today's ever changing market.
This photography group needed a fast, simple website to share upcoming events, display photos taken by the group, and to list all of the group members. To make it even better, the site was built to work hand in hand with Flickr. This integration allows the site to automatically update the member list & photos, with no user intervention whatsoever.
RSVP Rental Services wanted a site that was fast, easy to use, and looked great. We’re happy to say, they got what they wanted! Utilizing some of the latest technologies, this site delivers exactly what they wanted.
As one of the premiere open source photoblog applications, Pixelpost needed a website for their open source project. D3 worked along with the core developers of Pixelpost in order to create this cutting edge site. In addition to the new design, the entire back-end was rebuilt from the ground up in order to provide better features and tighter security.
E-commerce sites are well known for their clutter and poor usability. Serials & Such wanted something different. And that’s exactly what they got! Designed for pure speed and ease of use, this site stands out from the typical shopping site, allowing users to simply browse the catalog and place their orders.
This non-profit organization needed a clean, simple website. D3 also setup the site to they could receive donations, and keep everyone up to date with an integrated blog. It doesn’t get much simpler than this, but as with most things, less is best.
This is actually three websites in one, as each restaurant has its own website. 3 Best Chefs wanted their website to handle quite a lot, and we’re pleased to say that we were able to complete the task. Some of the features include purchasing of gifts cards, daily specials, comment forms, and a full web administration system.
What would happen if you decided to deliberately take photos upside down for a day? For such a unique project, D3 hand crafted a minimalist design & logo that would emphasize the photos, and provide minimal distraction.
Cozy Bear Cabins had a dilemma. They had three wonderful cabins that they wanted to rent, but they needed a website to showcase them. D3 solved this problem by creating a website that invoked the feeling of the Smokies and allowed visitors to view photos, amenities, rates, and details for each cabin.
After having their original website built in the 90’s, Snow & Bell needed a complete site redesign. D3 succeed in providing them with a user friendly way for people to contact them, request quotes, and learn more about what Snow & Bell has to offer.
Frustrated with the trend of over-the-top blog designs, D3 built a purely minimalist design from scratch for the photoblog A Different View. The goal was simple: build a design that makes the photos stand out.

Flickr Enlarger is a super simple way to view a Flickr photo on any color background you wish. It's simple, clean, and can automatically scale an image down to fit inside your browser's window.

If you have a Dreamhost PS web hosting account, you can use this handy little widget to keep track of your server status. It shows the RAM usage & server load for the last 24 hours. (Requires Mac OS X 10.4+)
The old Leica film cameras require that all film be trimmed before being loaded into the camera. To make this process as easy as possible, we made this handy little PDF trimming template. All you need to do is simply print out the guide & trim with ease!
